Hadrian Predock + John Frane’s project for the 2010 GLOW festival in Santa Monica titled “Luminous Passage” links the City to the Ocean as a porous and luminous land bridge. Connecting the existing Bay Street boardwalk to the ocean’s edge, the passage makes visible the connection across the sand to the edge of the Pacific.

The Wave in Vejle is a new unique housing and with its sculptural and organic forms it will become the new landmark of Vejle. With the magnificent location overlooking the promenade and the bay the characteristic building both respects and challenges the potential of the area.

Tokyo Apartment

The Tokyo Apartment building by Sou Fujimoto consists of five dwelling units. Each one of them has two or three independent rooms in a prototypical “house” shape. I’m not sure that I would like to climb a ladder each time I want to go to the other room. But I would definitely like to visit this building.
