Maribor Footbridge Proposal

Vodafone Headquarters

Location: Porto, Portugal

The technical complexity of the building leads to a periphery structural solution, a shell of concrete, like an egg, reducing internal support to the two stairwells and three central pillars, allowing great versatility in its interior space use.
Functionally, the building has eight floors working three as underground.

The Tokyo Baby Cafe
Designer: Nendo
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Tokyo Baby Cafe--a mother-and-baby shop set to open in Japan--is somewhat redolent of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, with its pale blue-and-gray color scheme. Add the fact that it caters for both adults and children, and all that's missing is a cake labelled Eat Me and a bottle marked Drink Me.
